Gazing out into the skies
I sit here and I just exist
There is no material value here
Only the joy of living
The sand is warm under my feet
It gives my tired body a place to lie
On this bed of grinded stone I may rest
And allow the sinful world to pass me by
The ocean is tamed and calm
As it gently brushes against the sand
It sings to me a lullabye so beautiful
An aquatic paradise
Within this ocean lies five stones
Placed there by a force unknown
They are sat there so perfectly in position
Unlike the World, they make absolute sense
I sit upon the largest stone and I look out to the horizon
The ocean and the Heavens meet with lovers embrace
The purples and the reds of the skies dance
Like a married couple on their wedding night
I smile as I sit on my stone
I hug the air around me
I lose myself in this place of purity
For this is truly where Heaven begins...
I sit here and I just exist
There is no material value here
Only the joy of living
The sand is warm under my feet
It gives my tired body a place to lie
On this bed of grinded stone I may rest
And allow the sinful world to pass me by
The ocean is tamed and calm
As it gently brushes against the sand
It sings to me a lullabye so beautiful

The purples and the reds of the skies dance

Before I said that "Permit Me to Dream" is my favourite song of all time - now you're looking at possibly my favourite poem of all time. This poem is based upon the breath-taking deviation "Conjuring Light" by *Solkku (submitted June 27th 2006). This is definately one of the most positive poems I've ever written and it still makes me smile when I read it.
I hope you enjoy it and please check out 's work!
You can find this poem in my book 'Permit Me To Dream' which you can buy on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca and other online book stores.
